With more than 500.000 visitors from more than 200 countries, the bauma, world's leading trade fair for construction machinery, building material machines, mining machines, construction vehicles, construction equipment and mining machines, is an event of superlatives. This year, the bauma started on April 11 in its 31. edition. Right in the middle of the exhibition: Mercedes-Benz Special Trucks.

At stand 136 in hall B4, there was hustle and bustle. Numerous international visitors took their chance of getting in touch with the power packs Unimog and Zetros. Mercedes-Benz Special Trucks presented the former with the newly developed extendible front sweeper by AS Baugeräte Bau- und Kommunaltechnik.

The Unimog U 218 with the working platform Scorpion 15E showed its capability at the Oil&Steel stand on the open-air ground FS. Whereas the Zetros presented itself in the best light at the Meiller stand on the open-air ground FN: with a rear-dumper that has a capacity of about 17m³.
