Experiencing the all-terrain Unimog with crewcab.
Those relying on sheer manpower even in remote areas can now receive reinforcements from a real transport professional. The all-terrain Unimog with crewcab has room for the whole team – whether maintenance gangs, researchers or firefighters. At the International Commercial Vehicle Show 20116 (IAA) in Hanover, a Unimog U 5023 was presented to the public as a crewcab variant with platform for the first time.
First-class second row with plenty of room for people and equipment.
The Unimog with crewcab can take up to seven people practically anywhere. The four-door Unimog is equipped with a rear bench seat for four persons as standard. On request it is also possible to install two air-sprung individual seats. In this configuration there is room for five persons including the driver.
Convenient access to the rear seats from each side is ensured by two wide-opening doors behind the front axle, with three flexible entry steps. Tools and working materials for teams can be securely stowed in the three generous compartments beneath the fold-up rear bench seat, where they are quickly to hand. Even with seven persons on board, a pleasant atmosphere in the cab is ensured by the now integrated, powerful air conditioning system.
Further comfort is ensured by the low-vibration three-point cab mounting and the generous headroom, which also leaves enough space for helmet wearers.
