Floods? The Unimog equipped as a water taxi is here to help.
Instead of driving around the Kasselberg district of Cologne, the Unimog has been crossing it. The recent heavy rain there caused floods, as it did in many other places too. Right at the beginning of the year, the main access road was flooded, leaving the residents of Kasselberg cut off from the outside world. But the rescue services of Germany's DLRG lifeboat service defied the waters with two extreme off-road Unimog vehicles, taking the residents to work or to the doctor – a truly special ferry service indeed.
