Expedition vehicle for the demanding.

Bocklet Fahrzeugbau counts on off-road specialist Unimog.

The use of high-quality materials and components is particularly close to the hearts of the engineers and mechanics of Bocklet Fahrzeugbau, according to their own statement. That is why the Unimog with its legendary off-road capability serves as the perfect basis for the motorhome specialists' individual expedition vehicles. This happened just as well in the model Bocklet Dakar U690, which is presented on the Abenteuer & Allrad fair 2018.

Travelling the world in all directions.

The Bocklet Dakar U690 is based on the extreme off-roader Unimog U 4023. The chassis with a wheelbase of 3,850 mm is perfect for extreme off-road driving. With a total length of 6.87 m and a width of 2.34 m, the Dakar U690 is comparatively compact for a long-distance mobile home. The four-wheel drive is powered by a modern and powerful diesel engine with 170 kW (231 hp). Tank and extra tank together hold 300 l fuel, enough even for longer distances.

Each of the Unimog's axles has a separate differential lock by default. Thus, even extreme gradients and rides through scree and deep mud are no obstacles for modern adventurers. The advantage: Normal roads can be easily and quickly driven on with the Unimog, too. The tire pressure control system allows the driver to easily adjust the air pressure to the current ground conditions. The comfort seats ensure comfortable travel even on long journeys. And when it gets narrow when maneuvering, the rear-view camera mounted on the body provides a clear view to the rear.

Comfortable living and sleeping. Everywhere.

Bocklet's well-thought-out body does not even make long tours under extreme climatic conditions a torture: The cold bridge-free sandwich construction is well insulated and has diesel and gas-powered warm air heating. Internal tanks can be filled with up to 220 litres of fresh water. The waste water from the double sink and shower is stored in a separate tank. Solar panels combined with a powerful lithium-ion battery provide sufficient power for the integrated refrigerator, power outlets and LED lighting. An overview of the power consumption is always visible thanks to the practical control panel.

The whole design of the living area, which is connected to the cab via a hatch, is designed for practical convenience and straightforward comfort. The functional furniture offers sufficient storage space and yet enough room for living, eating and sleeping. A skylight provides plenty of light and allows comfortable ventilation. Hungry adventurers enjoy the spacious kitchen with a two-burner stove.

Lots of space for adventurers: The interior of the Dakar U690 Bocklet offers everything modern day explorers need.
